Pre-birthdays
Monday
Met up with Darren Y, Karen & Sam, Cheryl, Ronnie, Daniel and Alicia for dinner at Hereen Sakea Sushi. Kind of an early birthday celebration for Darren and Karen. It’s been around 2 years since I seen Darren though. He did not change much since, as a matter of fact, everyone looked unchanged physically. (must be my lousy observation skills). Oh yeah Darren is preparing to get hitched next year…. Hmm...
Again, I ask Kelvin H along but he got caught up in some late meeting. But he promised to buy me a drink this Thursday leh. Hee… see how.
Later in the night, i tried to find a UOB CDM around west side area but was disgusted at breakdown of the CDM around my place ( think 2 days liao). The nearest ones are either at Westmall, Boon Lay or Clementi. Went to the further one at Boon Lay coz i had not been there for 5 years plus. Still looks the same. Old men playing chess, homeless still sleeping on the stone benches. Admittedly, its an old area that had always been populated by mostly our hinterland counterparts as their workplace are in the area. But its also the place, where i spend most of my childhood. (I rented my first comic book in this area). Though there had been some upgrading done in the area, the feeling of the old neighbourhood remains.
Overall it was a good walk down the memory lane.

wat??!! w.. wat's e girl's name? shihui or smthg? and last i rem, darren had put on some weight compared to uni lor... =P
yeah... shihui shd be correct. And darren took up cycling recently though. perhaps thats why.
