Retrieving the Car

Send my car to my father's friend's workshop at Premas Jaya to do the paint job the past week. And due to work, i can only retrieve it this weekend, particularly Saturday. Played mahjong at my friend's house the night before and sleep till afternoon before setting out to cross the Bridge.

Traffci jammed from 4 pm onwards. Did a U-turn to wait out the heavy traffic before finally setting out to cross the Bridge at around 6pm.

Finally successfully retrieved the car at 8pm. By the time i got back to on local soil, it was 9pm.

Drove down to my colleague's baby party even as it was long over. The month-old boy was quite cute. Hmm... forgot to take photos....

Apparently, its a religious requirement where 2 goats were to be slaughtered for a one month-old male baby. (1 goat if its girl). In S'pore, the goats are slaughtered elsewhere with the "slayer" saying a prayer under the name of the baby and their parents. Its more symbolic here locally.
